“Unless one likes complexity, one cannot feel at home in the twenty-first century. Transformations, metamorphoses, mutations, processes of change amidst dissonant power relations have become familiar patterns in the lives of most contemporary subjects.” The Nomadic Theory, Braidotti R., 2011, Columbia University Press, pg.1

Embodying Space
Everyday architectures that contain our fragmented self are the remains of our lost identities as singular subjects limited in a frame of time. It is the intangible what kidnapped our self as opposed of the tangible architectures. I propose to embody the space that we pass by as a given environment without being connected due to our fragmented life. Embodying that space that contain our every day in a maternal way, keeping us from the total fragmentation of this times.
This piece was originally performed at the Art Center South Florida, Miami Beach in October 2015, at Jugson Gym in New York City in January 2016 and at Uffer Studios in Wedding Berlin, Germany during the TransArt Trienniale, August 2016, the New York and Berlin versions were part of SpaceBodies an exhibition curated by Andrea Spaziani.
